Recalculated pensions for active retirees – Ministry of Social Policy
The bodies of the Pension Fund have recalculated the pensions of active retirees.
The press service of the Ministry of Social Policy said so in a statement, the Ukrainian News Agency reports.
“The bodies of the Pension Fund have recalculated the pensions of active retirees in accordance with part 4 of article 42 of the law on compulsory state pension insurance,” the statement said.
The recalculation was carried out from April 1 after receiving data from the State Tax Service on the amounts of insurance premiums accumulated and paid for the first quarter of 2021. Accordingly, in June, retirees will receive both an increased pension and an additional payment for April and possibly.
The recalculation was carried out for persons for whom at least 24 months have passed since the appointment (previous recalculation) of a pension and who were working at that time.
The insurance experience acquired during this period is taken into account when calculating the new amount of the pension, and for retirees who have acquired at least 24 months of insurance experience and had a significant salary, the pension is calculated taking into account the increase in salary.
In total, pensions were increased to 313,000 retirees.
The average increase was 193.32 UAH.
The recalculation of pensions was carried out automatically, without the retirees turning to the Pension Fund.
As the Ukrainian news agency previously reported, the next pension indexation will be carried out in July for an additional 1 million retirees.
