Following the government’s proposal in the Resources & Waste Strategy for the free and universal collection of garden waste and the potential elimination of the pricing of this service, LARAC instructed SOENECS to collect data on the current state of the situation. in the local government sector for the collection of garden waste and to analyze the potential impact of the transition from paid collections to free collections.
The webinar will feature Dr. David Greenfield, CEO of SOENECS, who will present the results of the research project. Then, a member body of LARAC will present the challenges of implementing the Government’s proposals from an operational point of view.
