Fortnite Data Receiver: how to destroy structures, collect data
Trying to collect information from Fortnite data receivers? Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 has started a war between the Imaginary Order (IO) and The Seven. The new Fortnite map highlights territories owned by each faction, including landmarks that currently serve as battlegrounds. Don’t be surprised if your favorite landmark ends up becoming a war zone over the next few weeks.
The Fortnite Battle Bus blueprints have come to fruition, and this week’s Resistance Challenges ask you to drive these newly upgraded buses into roadblocks to destroy them and place the Fortnite weapon schematics in Synapse Station. The challenge we are focused on requires you destroy the structures above a Fortnite data receiver before collecting their data. You only need to collect the information from two data receivers to complete the challenge.
Remember that to complete this challenge, you must first complete the rest of the Resistance challenges. If you’re looking to level up your battle pass, we also have a Fortnite Omni Chip locations guide that’s updated weekly – collect all the Omni Chips to unlock the Omni Sword harvesting tool. Here is what you need to collect data receiver information in Fortnite.
Fortnite Data Receiver Locations
Here are all the data receiver locations in Fortnite:
- Inside the building with a pink roof north of Camp Cuddle
- Head into the woods towards the east side of Camp Cuddle
- In the wooden structure in full Camp Cuddle center
- Under the wooden structure up to the north of The Joneses
- On the ground floor of the red wooden structure of the mid jones
- Head to the south of The Joneses find another red wooden structure
All you have to do is destroy structures above data receivers so that information can be broadcast to satellites in the sky. Once the data receivers have established a connection, you can climb to the device and collect the data.
And this is how you collect data receiver information in Fortnite. Fortnite’s traditional build mode is back, but you can stick with the non-build mode now that it’s been added as a permanent mode.
